year of manufacture, manufacturer, 1000V and double triangle or VDE symbol.
The high-quality insulating plastic is compliant with the REACH regulation and withstands the latest PAH test.

The Special Side Cutter 1000 V high-leverage diagonal cutters is a high-quality tool, equipped with a 2-color multi-layer insulation "made in Germany". It is manufactured according to DIN ISO 5749 and made of oil-hardened special tool steel, making it also suitable for cutting piano wire (D2 quality). With its special leverage, it provide a 40% force saving when cutting.
Furthermore, they comply with the latest standard EN 60900 / IEC 60900 and are therefore suitable for working on live parts up to 1,000 volts. The tool is tested and certified with a test voltage of 10,000 volts. It is stamped with the corresponding standard symbols, and the insulating plastic complies with the REACH regulation and withstands the latest PAH test. The diagonal cutters have a length of 200 mm and weigh 380 g.
